The following poem is a few thoughts running through my head at the moment. First, how every media’s outlet is trying to gain out loyalty, by manipulating the facts. This is some of my frustrations with it. All feedback is welcomed. 😉
The poem expresses frustration with life trying to constantly distract us from our truth. My truth, simply, may not be your truth. And that’s ok.
Can you see with that blurred reality
Apparently reality is in the eye of the beholder
Maybe I’ll know more when I’m older
Often we don’t see what we see
Until we see what we believe
Forge through life consciously clear
Lest your reality, will include fear
A fear that’ll take on unhealthy forms
Gaining its approval from social norms
Eventually your blurred reality will include insanity

What an interesting take on the prompt. Truly at times the lines do get blurred.
