Interestingly enough we all fall short of our inner genius
Most of the time we forget that our innerself-needss nourishment, as well as our bodies
Probably because the stresses of everyday life dull our senses
Each one of us struggles with something or someone who blur our purpose, sometimes on purpose.
Realizing that we are all imperfect in our design yet perfect in every way, is half the battle
Forgiving the perceived imperfections in others will make our lives, that much easier
Expectations are like curiosity, they killed that darn cat
Consequently, we still hold our expectations on a pedestal
To our amazement nobody really like the ‘pedestal’
Perhaps because it’s an expectation forced on you by another to
Exhaust us into submission, to keep a firm hand on an unassuming lass
Regardless of how it happens or how we stumble into the world, we are perfect in the eyes of our
Father, who created us to be perfectly imperfect, and now that is
Enough for me. We should be able to stand firm onto something that allows us to reach for that level of ‘genius’ like my favorite guy Wile E.
Coyote, “Super Genius”. Ok, so maybe I just dated myself. But for those who know who I am
Talking about, then you would know he was AMAZINGLY Geniusy. That’s a new word to
Include in your daily vocabulary. In short, we are all created with a special gift that cannot be duplicated or stolen
On occasions it can be and will be imitated. But, luckily we have a selfish God who gives us all our own selfish gifts. This is
Not to say that our gifts are selfish, I am just saying that they are like DNA and FingerPrints, each person is different from the next.
So what does this mean, it just means that we must embrace every imperfection, every blemish, every ounce of dysfunction and love or empathy that we have. For I am thankful there is not another Celeste, just like me running around. That would be interesting, yet scary.
I rambled a bit on this post but I tried to make a post with the words: Imperfect Perfections. Feedback is welcomed if you haven’t gotten dizzy from all the different subjects. HA! Welcome to my brain.

Lovely presentation. We are created to be imperfect and we have to accept that otherwise we exhaust ourselves to no avail trying to be perfect. Thanks for sharing and tickling our thoughts.

Before, I used to believe that what we become is who we are. But I realized that what really makes us isn’t those achievements in life… the success everyone’s aiming, rather, it is our imperfections and how we deal with it.

OMG! I love every bit of the words you said here. My favorite is: “Realizing that we are all imperfect in our design yet perfect in every way, is half the battle.” Your article should be shared to all people out there.

When I’m reading your piece, I remembered someone saying that we shouldn’t aim anyway for perfection. But rather on the progress of things we do. Conversely, we needn’t be stuck-up to a certain expectation if we felt we’re lagging behind. Anyway, way to go for your unique composition. That’s one selfish gift to celebrate! 😉

This is a masterpiece as I love everything about entry. You are absolutely right in regards to accepting the flaws. The more we strive for approval the more we get exhausted. We should learn to appreciate the beauty of having imperfections.

Great literacy piece. This line “Expectations are like curiosity, they killed that darn cat” bit me. Some of us have our own set of expectations but we should really understand that all of us are imperfect and people can’t meet our expectations.

Everyone has imperfections and just a while ago I read that there’s no perfect person and it’s just imaginary. In order for other people to appreciate us even though we aren’t perfect, we must believe first in ourselves.

What a lovely piece, Celeste. I agree. We are created perfectly imperfect. Each of us do have a special gift that cannot be duplicated or stolen, and that’s what makes us unique in our own ways 🙂

It was quite disorienting to read to be honest coz you rambled and then started on a new letter which was actually a continuation of your thought from the previous one but on the thought about imperfections, I have to say that I agree.
